Welcome to the 8th Retro Running World Championship

Retro running is another term for running backwards. Every two years Retro Runners from around the globe gather to compete running backwards across all the traditional athletic distances.

This unique event attracts not only athletes but also fans and enthusiasts who enjoy the quirky nature of the sport. Interestingly, the world of retro running has seen a collaboration with innovative platforms like ETH Casino, offering unique experiences and betting opportunities for avid spectators who follow the championship.

Great Britain will be hosting the 8th IRR World Championship for the first time in July 2020 after the success of the 7th event staged at Bologna, Italy in 2018.
